Register of certificates to purchasers of Chippewa land, 1896-1908.

An abstract of certificates issued for land entries made by cash purchase in the Crookston land district for ceded Chippewa reservation land, under provisions of the Nelson Act of January 14, 1889. The procedure for making cash entries on this land was the same as for cash entries on public land, except that the minimum price was based on the appraised value of the timber on the land.
